As a Production Designer and multi-media artist, my work spans theater and film set designs to fine arts collages and drawings, all united by a distinct identity. My creations recontextualize natural objects and manmade materials in nonconforming styles with harmonious composition, texture, and pleasing color. I draw my style from my experience making art in multiple genres; each unique technique I learn complements my overall portfolio of artwork.
My art is characterized by a meticulous exploration of the texture of flexible and solid materials and researched color pallets, all of which enhance stories through the sets I design. Through my multimedia projects, I have developed a unique style of juxtaposing hard materials such as wood or wire with soft elements like fabric and paint. This intriguing blend allows me to merge industrial aspects with a stylized perspective of my work’s original inspiration for optimal enhancements to the stories my set designs will tell.
My foremost passion is making vivid, functional, and dynamic set designs. I am proud of the final products I produce, as they are well informed by my secondary practices of multi-media artwork. This approach enhances the aesthetic appeal and mood of my work. I am driven to develop conceptually rich artwork with elevated craftsmanship. The quality and dedication I put into each piece are vital concepts I constantly aim to achieve.
